Psychotherapist in Bristol & Somerset & online

I am a psychotherapist in training with the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute. I am also a qualified relational counsellor, registered with BACP. I offer a regular, non-judgmental space for you to process your feelings, thoughts, hopes and fears. I work in an open-ended way which means I don’t limit the number of sessions. Psychotherapy and counselling are normally most effective if we can commit to meet regularly, usually weekly, although I can offer some flexibility, depending on need. I can also offer longer sessions. Sessions last for 50 minutes and my fee is £45. I have a limited number of concessionary spaces for those on lower incomes. I offer in person counselling sessions at the Practice Rooms based in Southville, Bristol. I also work online so location is no barrier to accessing therapy. Please get in touch via email, or the contact form

I am registered as a trainee with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I abide by the Codes of Ethics of both UKCP and my training organisation (WPI), including their confidentiality policy and General Data Protection Regulation guidance, as well as meeting their requirements for regular supervision by an experienced and accredited supervisor. I carry full, professional insurance.

Counselling and psychotherapy can help you to integrate your thoughts, feelings and behaviours

Why come to psychotherapy?

I use a humanistic, integrated approach to counselling and psychotherapy which means I draw on a range of different therapeutic models, methods and philosophies (developmental, attachment, Gestalt, polyvagal, neuroscience).  I take a trauma informed approach.

Together, we can begin to explore and clarify your thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviours and start to identify relationship patterns that may no longer be helpful. I aim to support clients to become more self-aware in mind and body and be more conscious of the choices they make. I will help you to understand yourself better and to live life more authentically and to your greatest potential. Most of us face challenges and struggles at some time in our lives, so whether you are interested in working through a current problem or simply want to find out more about yourself, I can provide an accepting environment to help you explore what might be holding you back.

As a relational counsellor and psychotherapist, I believe the therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for change. Get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book an introductory meeting in Bristol or online.
